Computer Games Boot Camp is on again for 2011
July 1, 2011
Monash University is set to kick of its Computer Games Boot Camp (CGBC), the biggest event on any high-school gamer’s calendar. Consistently growing bigger and bigger, this year will be no exception as the seven-day extravaganza is only a week or so away. Students will be travelling into the Clayton campus from interstate and even internationally with over 1000+ teenagers are already registered to flock into the event. With 400 students on a waiting list last year due to the immense popularity of CGBC it’s important to get in early, with parents signing their kids up for 2012 as early as January this year. If you can’t make it though, don’t panic as it will all be broadcast with the help of our friends over at Level 3.
The lineup is awesome, the presentations are set to rock your socks off, and with awesome tournaments like the IT Challenge Awards, Gaming for a Cause Charity Fundraiser, The High School Esports League International Friendly between Australia and China, and a vast range of game competitions on pc, console and retro arcade-style epicness.
This is not something you want to miss.
