Week 9 was a week of waiting. Waiting for car forms to go through various departments, waiting for the launch of a magazine we’d been working on, waiting for my sister to get home so as to congratulate her on her engagement, waiting for messages/replies/emails/txts, waiting just to go home.
I finally go back on the airwaves, hosting with a good mate of mine a online gaming radio program that entered into its 5th season. Waiting for the intro to finish for me to start talking, and evidently to continue in dialogue for the next two hours, was a mixture of apprehension and excitement. I’d been waiting to get back into it for a while, there was a fair bit of planning involved, and once I started it was a good feeling to be back. The difficulty being attempting to keep up the pace. Two hours is a long time, and while I’m not a public speaker by any regard, being able to kick back in my comfy office chair did help traverse the verbal marathon.
One thing I won’t be waiting for is another package as I all the ones I have actually been expecting have all finally arrived.
Oh wait, I just won another bid on eBay, scratch that…
